It is one of the functions of HP's ePrint technology which allows, also, use of online applications to store and read (print) documents, read (print) press releases fast and also coloring pages for kids. Obviously these are not the functions for which you choose a printer. The 8600 is a worthy continuation of the 8500 Pro with different functions in more and some less (the most unpleasant, among all, the lack of duplex scanning from the automatic document feeder). Instead, although not reported in features, the HP Pro 8600 allows you to print directly from Apple devices without passing by other applications. The iOS operating system detects it and runs perfectly. Compared to the previous printer is more compact and round. The clear impression is that it is also more robust. The display and full touchscreen, no buttons except the power button.
New printer and a new set of cartridges, but nothing more print heads to be mounted at boot time. Hopefully it's a good sign.
The setup is easy and immediate. It can be done manually, but with routers that have the specific key (eg. Cisco) connection is immediate without even having to enter the password of your wireless network. Of course you can also connect via USB or Ethernet port. In all types of connection is still available even the scanner function.
The cost of cartridges is around twenty Euros (something more for black) XL version of a long life. Other printers cartridges with much more economic autonomy have much more limited, so do not be fooled by appearances.
The HP 8600 Pro is ideal for small offices (is given for 25 thousand prints per month). Obviously also works as a fax.
and printing are very well made and fast even in draft mode which saves a lot 'of ink.
